Lesion Removal

Cryotherapy is the gold standard for removal of benign skin lesions in dermatology and aesthetic practices. The FreezPen is the most efficient and precise cryotherapy for skin lesions including skin tags, hyperplasia, seborrheic keratosis and more.

The FreezPen Cyrotherapy Treatment utilizes extreme cold gas jet to freeze the skin lesions. As a consequence, the water inside the cells freeze, expand and rupture the membrane of the cells. The cells that compromise the lesion are eliminated over time to allow new healthy tissue to grow. The repair may continue 1-3 weeks following treatment. Large lesions may require 1-2 follow-up treatments. 

Accutane must be stopped for six months prior to treatment. It is recommended to stop using any Retinol products one week prior to treatment and can resume one week after. Immediately after treatment, the lesions may  become red, swollen and sensitive to touch
