What does it feel like?
Treatment can be described as a warm massage feeling. Every patient and area is slightly different, with some areas becoming warmer than others. The treatment is completely safe and any discomfort can be addressed with lower frequency during the session. The DMA causes a slight electric feeling as it contracts muscles.
How often should I get treatments?
It is recommended that patients go through a series of 6 - 8 weekly treatments for maximum results.
When will I see results?
Most patients notice a difference after the first treatment. Best results are seen when the patient drinks plenty of water to assist lymphatic drainage. On average, patients measure .5 to 1 inch reduction in circumference each session. Optimal results are seen at the end of 6 - 8 sessions.
How long is each session?
Depending on the areas being treated, patients can expect an average of 30 - 60 minutes per session.
